Cukrownia – the Sugar Factory – is a mixed-use project based on the concept of a 15-minute city. It is emerging on the historic site of the unique Sugar Factory, a site of special importance to the local community. We are giving it a new life by building a new city centre.

We will transform the historic buildings into residential, commercial, and communal spaces while preserving the historic elements of the site. The Sugar Factory is a unique site with historic industrial buildings dating back to 1881. This is where the heart of the Pruszcz community was beating. Its landmark is the 72-metre tall chimney. Full of historical ambiance, the site will gain a new unique character and new functions.

The historic buildings will be transformed into recreational spaces while preserving the historic elements of the site. The first phase will create around 5,000 sq. m of flats and around 500 sq. m of commercial space, including shops, restaurants, a café, and a bar.
The Sugar Factory is just 12 km from the centre of Gdańsk and 21 km from the airport. The train ride to Gdańsk Główny takes only 9 minutes. The Sugar Factory is close to key transport hubs: national roads no. 6 and 1 and the exit from the A1 motorway.
